Sport is part of a healthy lifestyle, although we cannot always train because of small injuries, exhausting periods, laziness, lack of time, stress, back from holidays...

Let´s analyze the main reasons of not doing sport

Firstly, you should know that SPORT helps to boost energy, reduces stress, lifts your mood, sharpens brainpower, prevents age-related decline and leads to a healthier life.

Based on these advantages, let's analyse your case.

Try to go out for a short run. Play some music, an audio book, breath fresh air, disconnect from the world... make the most of that moment, just a time to enjoy and not a heavy burden.

It is important to enjoy what you do. If running is not your thing, try to walk or search for another alternatives like swimming, cycling, skating... There must be something you enjoy.

Try to attend to some fitness classes. Many people do not like cycling, however they enjoy a spinning class workout as it is a group activity, guided and indoor; or just going to the gym because it is a social activity.

There is a wide variety of exercises you can do with the kids, it will be a game for them and a workout for you, Family Sport!

​​If you do indoor workout, the weather is not an excuse. Just go out to the cold for 5 minutes and come into the installation. It is just 5 minutes of laziness in return for many minutes of reward.

Even you can work out at home, there are plenty of videos you can find in internet., like this one for women this one for men.

If you do outdoor workout, protect yourself against the cold or rain and go out. Only people who has done sport outdoors know the gratifying feeling of drying themselves when they have been on the rain or the feeling of a hot shower after being out in the cold.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Wear the right clothes and go out!

Some minutes

We are not talking about 3 hours of training, just 20-30 minutes.

During the day, there are several intervals of non productive times, let´s use one of those times to work out.

Adaptation

The human being adapts quickly to the change. Indeed, it takes a minimum of about 21days to form a new habit.

Think about this the next time you want to start training. Set the goal of exercising yourself twice a week until you do it 21 times, then you will be into a new habit!
