Many people say that this is the best world bench (it competes against the other one located in Loiba, which is also very beautiful). You have a wonderful view from the height: Cies islands, Rande bridge, the troughs, San Simon island, the port, Redondela, Vigo, Morrazo, ... Sometimes the nature gives us a variety of contrasts and this is a great place to enjoy those contrasts.
It is not easy to get there, but all good things require effort.
History A Redondelan who lived nearby, made the bench himself and placed it in the right spot. At the beginning, only he knew about this nice place. Later on, some friends were going there and the first pictures were posted in the social media... Soon, all the people living around the area wanted to visit the bench.
Several times the bench was pulled up; it was rumored that the forest community pulled it up because they did not like the fact of so many people coming to their forest. However, nothing stopped people from coming. Some citizens put the collaborated to put the bench back in the initial place.
Nowadays, not only the people from the surroundings are coming, but also people from different regions come to see the nice landscape.

Recommendations
-Bring comfy shoes as it is not very easy to access to the place. Besides that, the ground may be muddy, overall after rainy days.
-You may want to park the car next to the main road and later you walk. If you take the car down the hill, it may be a bit stress for the car.
