Chocolate Biscuits WITHOUT butter

Ingredients

250 g flour

70 g sugar

90 g black chocolate squares (around 75% is good)

15 g baking powder

50 ml sunflower oil (or olive oil for more intensity) 1 pinch of salt

2 eggs

 

Receta

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

  2. Add the eggs and the oil. Mix well until you get a dough.

  3. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Add it to the dough and mix well.

  4. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Take the dough and roll spoonfuls into balls. Keep them separated as they will expand with the heat. With the help of a spoon, flatten each ball.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 180ºC (356ºF) heat above and below. These biscuits are not too sweet, so feel free to sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
